Jen FitzGerald

Jennifer FitzGerald, born in 1971, is a ceramic artist working in the bustling urban landscape of Chicago, IL. Her work seeks to “weave” together the intricate beauty of both human craftsmanship and the subtleties of the natural world. Characterized by its realism and complexity, her pieces push the boundaries of traditional ceramics, inviting viewers to explore a tapestry of textures and forms. Several of her woven teapots and wares are included in permanent museum collections and publications. Jen owns and operates a boutique real-estate law firm when she’s not in her clay studio at Lillstreet Art Center. She is mom to two college-aged boys (Connor and Kieran) and lives in Wrigleyville (go Cubbies!) with her husband Todd.
