The Kitchen Sink is a juried exhibition of contemporary functional ceramics by artists from across the United States, featuring items commonly found in the kitchen. The exhibition presents mugs, bowls, trays, serving dishes and more.
Jen Allen is a studio potter, educator, and mother based in Morgantown, West Virginia. She earned her BFA from the University of Alaska, Anchorage, and her MFA from Indiana University, Bloomington. Jen and her husband, Shoji Satake, have two children, Annelise and Finn. When she’s not immersed in her pottery, teaching, or designing templates, you’ll likely find her at the hockey rink, cheering on her kids’ team.
