In this class, we will learn how to replicate forms for use in sculptures and as functional wares! Our patient instructors will guide the class through the process of creating plaster molds from found or made objects for use in slip casting. As the class progresses, students will explore the potential application of their slip-casted forms and be supported in applying class curriculum to their personal practice. Each student receives two shelves to store work, clay, and tools for the duration of the class.
