FALL 2025 CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS ARE OPEN FOR REGISTRATION!
All Bark No Bite
April 04 - April 25, 2025
Ceramics Artist in Resident Anthony Park Kascak says of this show, “When looking at my work and social media posts, you will probably believe I’m obsessed with my dog and dogs in general— and, I am! Adopting a stinky and codependent mutt has forced me to decipher a new language of care within my everyday life and studio practice. This love of doggy-pseudoscience has intertwined with my research and interest in historical Korean ceramic forms, fortune telling cards, fantasy world-building, and personal narrative as methods of navigating the disorientation of cultural hybridity. The
work within All Bark No Bite includes dogs in many variations, from ceramic and enameled copper cartomancy to sculptural work that reference historical Korean vessels and imagery.”
A first generation Korean-American, Anthony received his MFA from the University of Arkansas in Studio Art with an emphasis in Ceramics, and holds a BFA in Art Practices as well as a BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder. He has exhibited and attended residencies nationally and internationally in Berlin, South Korea, and China. Anthony is currently an Artist in Residence in Ceramics at Lillstreet Art Center.
