Younha Jung

Younha was born in Busan, South Korea, and moved to the United States in 2012. She graduated from Silla University with a BFA in 2007, and a Master of Fine Arts in 2009. She obtained an additional MFA from Kent State University in 2015. After graduating, she moved to Houston for an Artist In Residency position at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft. Her specialty is wearable contemporary metalwork through which she has been working to express emotional changes that humans feel as part of a course of adaptation to the change in their surroundings.
