DIY Gift Classes & Workshops

Master the art of giving this season. Enroll in a one-day or 4-week holiday course or workshop to create handmade gifts your loved ones will cherish while learning artistic skills you can use forever. Make scarves, mugs, ornaments, and much more. Want to give someone else the gift of creativity? Share the fun with gift certificates to art classes or the gallery

If you are crunched for time, there is nothing better than a one-day workshop. Try Earrings in a Day where an instructor will help you bend, cut, and press metal until you have crafted a pair of exquisite earrings. (P.S. If you decide to keep them for yourself, we don’t blame you). Give your loved ones the gift of warmth, make a Holiday Mug or Printed Scarf Workshop. We supply one American Apparel Scarf, and you supply the creative designs to screen print onto it. (Bring in extra scarves of your own and make multiple gifts!). Or keep it simple with Holiday Bird Ornaments, where you can make beautiful terra cotta versions of your favorite feathered friends. Every year, our most popular workshop is the blown glass ornaments which always fills up quickly!

There is also Metal Ornaments, a Sew-Your-Own Garland Workshop, and a Felted Ornaments and Small Sculpture Workshop.

Try Fused Holiday Ornaments where you can make about 15-20 ornaments over the course of four weeks.

Set the table -a class where you make handmade placemats, runners, napkins, and enjoy a potluck each week!

Fused Holiday Ornaments: Learn to cut and arrange glass that will be fired in a kiln. Different techniques will be explored such as frit and stringer decoration, enameling, and adding torch worked elements.?

We have four amazing holiday classes, designed for little hands and big hearts, parents are invited!

Winter Wonderland is a hands-on clay class where 3-5 year olds can create mugs, snowman villages, ornaments, or anything else they can dream up.

Snow Villages is a winter classic. Children ages 5-7 can spend four weeks creating miniature houses with tiny windows, doors and chimneys. On the last day of the class we put lights in the houses and enjoy the glow with hot chocolate and treats.

Clay Ornaments is a holiday favorite. Bring your kids (5+) and your creativity and work together to make simple, beautiful clay decorations.

These classes are holiday themed, but in all of our children’s art classes your little ones will make unique hand-made art that can be given as gifts. Check out all of the children’s classes here.

In this class you’ll be introduced to two glass techniques: fusing, and flameworking with a torch. Become familiar with the tools and materials needed to create projects such as glass beads for jewelry and fused bowls and wind chimes.
