Learn to use various ceramic hand-building techniques to recreate objects from a still life in clay. By observing simple objects and analyzing their forms, we will find ways to translate them into clay forms with personal expressions. Special attention will be given to forms, textures, surface, and content as part of the exploration of process. Each student receives two shelves to store work, clay, and tools.
