Discover the exquisite colors achieved when mixing natural dye. Experiment with yellow from marigold, blue from indigo, magenta from cochineal, and the process of over-dyeing to stretch your natural dye palette. All supplies and a 1/2 yard of silk are provided. Students are welcome to bring additional silk fabric to dye for the first time or naturally dyed silk for over-dye experiments. Adult students only, please.
