Class Description

Learn how to make simple silver cuffs at home using basic sawing, texturing, bending and piercing techniques. Quantity of cuffs made may vary depending on the width of the cuff bracelet made. Additional metal may need to be purchased. All levels welcome

Student Information

Material kit includes:

One - 1” x 6” 18 gauge silver sheet 

1 dz - 2/0 Saw Blades

All kits will be available for contactless pick-up the week prior to the start date.

 

Required tools:

Bench Pin with Clamp or Bench Pin without Clamp (C-Clamp can be purchased from local hardware store)

3” Depth Saw Frame or Various Depths Saw Frames

6” Flat Metal File Item No: 230-216-2

Rawhide Mallet

 

Required items that can be purchased at hardware store:

Sandpaper Grits - 220, 320, 400, 600

1ft length - 6” Round PVC Pipe - (in place of bracelet mandrel)

 

Optional tool purchases:

Stepped Oval Bracelet Mandrel if desired ($38 at Rio Grande, Allcraft - Economy $28.50

Better economy $35.95)

You will be emailed Zoom meeting instructions, including a unique URL and meeting code to join the class at least 1 day before the start of the class. If you do not receive an email from your instructor or registered within 24 hours of the first scheduled class, please contact the front desk ASAP.

Class cancellations can happen if enrollment minimums are not met 2 days prior to the first class. If your class is canceled, you will be contacted via phone or email.

If your class comes with a required or optional kit:  All kits will be available for contactless pick-up the weekend prior to the session's start date, Thursday, Sept 10 (Session I) & Thursday, Oct 15 (Session II), between 12-3 pm.
