Class Description

We’re partnering with City Grange to bring art and gardening to your home! Learn how to sculpt and glaze your own gnome with live instruction on Zoom. We’ll cover coil making and pinch pot techniques to add facial features, an outfit, and a hat to your little garden spirit. Tuition includes a clay materials kit from Lillstreet and a “Home for your Gnome” planter kit from City Grange. Lillstreet materials kits include terra-cotta clay, a cardboard square, printer paper, and glazes (red, blue, and yellow). These kits will be available for pickup beginning Monday, June 15 during our regular business hours. After the workshop, participants must bring their finished gnomes into Lillstreet for kiln firing on Sunday, June 28 or Monday, June 29. From 12–3PM. City Grange kits include 2 seasonal flowers or herbs, soil, a small planter, and a video with instructions for assembly. These kits will be available for pickup at Lillstreet when your gnomes are ready for pickup on July 11 and 12 from 12–3PM.
