Class Description

Design and print your own tote bag using easy custom made stamps. Our Teaching Artist will show you how to turn a potato into a stamp and how to make a wood and foam stamp. Design possibilities can range from simple for beginners to more complex for advanced artists. No experience necessary All levels welcome

Student Information

Supplies in kit:

  • White cotton Bandana
  • cotton fabric for practice
  • Small wood block
  • Sheet of sticky back foam
  • 1 container of printing ink, make sure to let us know which color you would like

blue, brown, purple, green, orange, red, yellow, black


Supplies students need:

  • A table or work space to spread out. We will be making a small mess, please protect your work space and wear clothing that you don't mind getting messy.
  • A potato or two
  • A set of linoleum cutting tools, example (optional)
  • Paring knife, or Xacto knife (be careful!), or plastic knife
  • Small cookie cutters (optional)
  • Rubber Brayer, example (optional)
  • Hard Plastic sheet of plexi, or tray for ink, not-food safe
  • Foam pouncer (optional), or you can use make-up or dish sponges, not food-safe



This interactive online class is presented via Zoom. Please download Zoom (, and register your email address prior to your first class.

You will be emailed Zoom meeting instructions, including a unique URL and meeting code to join the class at least 1 day before the start of the class. If you do not receive an email from your instructor or registered within 24 hours of the first scheduled class, please contact the front desk ASAP.

Class cancellations can happen if enrollment minimums are not met 2 days prior to the first class. If your class is canceled, you will be contacted via phone or email.

If your class comes with a required or optional kit:  All kits will be available for contactless pick-up the week prior to the start date.
