Lillstreet International is a juried exhibition that addresses contemporary issues in ceramic arts. The show is designed to challenge and showcase the ever changing scope of ceramic art. Each year the show will take on a different theme, with this year’s focus being functional porcelain. Juror: Sam Chung, Assistant Professor of Ceramics, Arizona State University.

COLLECTIVE CONVERSATIONS IN CLAY

Five pairs of artists create their own distinctive forms and exchange with their partner to complete using signature finishing technique. These unique collaborative artworks exhibiti a creative alliance between artists while still providing the classic individuality of each artist’s own design and vision. Partnered Artists Include: Jay Strommen & Debra Fritts, Emily Murphy & Gary Jackson, Joanna Kramer & Dustin Yager, Gina Hutchings & Sarah Hicks, Shane Grimes & Nancy Pirri.

Ceramelicious features the work of four nationally exhibited potters, known for their expressive and unique forms. The invited artists are Kowkie Durst, Meredith Host, Tammy Marinuzzi and Kevin Snipes.

Distinctive Lines is an exhibition shown in conjunction with the annual SOFA Chicago show. The exhibition brings together the work of five nationally known potters whom all share a connection to celebrated potter Warren Mackenzie via Mark Pharis. The invited artists are Mazin Adam, Sam Chung, Marc Digeros, Maren Kloppmann, and Mark Pharis.
