Open Studio: Access is for students currently enrolled in a Printmaking class. Open studio operates with a print monitor present, no exceptions. There is no instruction during open studio sessions. The open studio schedule is posted in the department the week after classes start and changes each term. Independent study may be available depending on the schedule, please contact Thomas Lucas at hummingbird@lillstreet.com for more information.

HUMMINGBIRD PRESS
Hummingbird shares the Lillstreet Printmaking Facility under the expertise of Director and Master Printer, Tom Lucas. Formerly Artistprint Editions, Hummingbird Press works to collaborate with artists to create unique limited edition, hand-printed works on paper. Lucas's experience as a printer spans a dozen years having published nearly twenty different artist editions. Recent artist collaborations include: Al Tyler, Kerry Marshall, Micheal Hopkins, Darrell Roberts, Bernard Williams and Preston Jackson. Look for the new Hummingbird Press website coming soon. Limited editions and contracts are by appointment only. Contact Thomas Lucas at hummingbird@lillstreet.com for more info. Hummingbird Press will be a participant in the upcoming Southern Graphics Council Convention in 2008. The convention will be hosted by Anchor Graphics at Columbia College.
