LILLSTREET ART CENTER

Learn about your camera and start to take better pictures as we learn about digital photography from the ground up. We’ll start with the essential camera controls like ISO, aperture, shutter speed, various shooting modes, and focus (both auto and manual). Then we’ll put these lessons into practice with some in-class exercises.  The class will then move onto a discussion of composition techniques and how to shoot thematically.  To round out the class, we’ll learn about editing images using Lightroom software and the basics of printing.  Students should bring to class a digital camera (DSLR preferred) with a fully charged battery and memory card with plenty of space.

If possible, please bring your camera's owner's manual as all cameras are different and may require specific instruction.
