Using storytelling fundamentals, invent a mythical creature, a legend and a handmade book containing your story. With a visit to the Lincoln Park Zoo on Tuesday for inspiration, your creature’s character traits might have fur, scales or wings and be sweet, cranky or firebreathing. Clay, fabric, paint and other mixed media will be used to create your creature’s environment.

Things to think about:
Students need to bring a non perishable lunch and drink or order one through our lunch program with First Slice Pie Café. We also advise bringing a bottle of water, especially on hot day.
Please contact Lillstreet at least one week in advance if you would like your camper to be placed with any buddies for the week. We will do our very best to accommodate you!
Weather permitting, we may take groups of children outside for lunch, breaks or outdoor projects.
A Lillstreet staff member will be photographing our camps throughout the summer. These photos may be used for our website, course catalog and/or other publications.
